Perry A. Genova, PhD - President & CEO
Dr. Genova is an accomplished biomedical professional with expertise in medical and pharmaceutical product innovation and development. Previously, he served as Global Vice President and Dose Form Leader for Metered Dose Inhalers with GlaxoSmithKline in Evreux, France. From 1996 through 2006 Dr. Genova was Vice President of Biomedical Engineering at Kos Pharmaceuticals where he built an integral part of Kos' lung delivery franchise while serving as the Project Team Leader for Kos' Inhaled Insulin program. Dr. Genova has authored over 30 scientific papers and presentations and has received 20 US patents to date. He has also been principally involved in a number of successful startup ventures including Quill Medical (acquired by Angiotech in 2006) and IEP Pharmaceutical Devices (acquired by Kos Pharmaceuticals in 1999).
Tracy Jackson - Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Jackson is an experienced financial management executive, having served as CFO and Controller for a variety of companies. Tracy has almost 20 years of experience, including extensive work with emerging-growth technology companies from start-up stage through execution of investor liquidity event, including initial public offerings, PIPE and venture investments, and acquisitions. Her public accounting experience includes consulting with companies in technology, life science, and manufacturing industries. She has a highly successful track record working with both development stage companies and large multi-national companies. Ms. Jackson holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from James Madison University.
Gary Pace, PhD, Esq. - Corporate Counsel
Dr. Pace has held executive management positions in several companies, including Novartis Corporation where he was a General Counsel, Gentris Corporation, a pharmacogenetic testing company, and Quill Medical, Inc., a medical device company where he led the legal negotiation for their structured buyout in 2006. Dr. Pace was recently an Assistant General Counsel for BASF Corporation responsible for patent matters for two of the Corporations' business units.
